This activity provides an overview of behavioral counseling for tobacco cessation and the Clinical Practice Guideline for Treating Tobacco Use and Dependence. You will learn about the 5 A’s (Ask, Advise, Assess, Assist, and Arrange) and the Ask-Advise-Refer frameworks for counseling, as well as the tobacco quitline services.
